Course Description
Our Cambridge courses help students successfully prepare for the Cambridge Young Learners of English (YLE) Examinations. These examinations focus on a child’s reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Our Cambridge courses are expertly designed by official Cambridge examiners and provide students the foundation they need to excel in the examination. Additionally, each course is carefully mapped out to ensure that specific reading, writing, listening, and speaking outcomes are met at each stage. Our lessons include customized workbooks, extensive vocabulary and listening activities, and mock exam preparation to help ensure your child is fully prepared to take the examination.
YLE Examinations
The Cambridge Young Learners of English (YLE) Examinations are highly recognized around the world and provide children with the tools needed to succeed in an English-speaking environment. Part of the University of Cambridge, the YLE is regarded as one the world’s leading qualifications and is accepted by various schools and organizations worldwide.
Pre-Starters: Cambridge Pre-Starters is the first step towards gaining the internationally-recognized Cambridge English YLE certificate. This initial preparation course will provide students with the tools needed to start our Cambridge Starters course.
Starters: Cambridge Starters is the first of three Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners. This exam introduces children to everyday written and spoken English.
Movers: Cambridge Movers is the second of three Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners. This is the next step in a child’s English language journey where they will learn how to read, write, and listen in a more complex manner.
Flyers: Cambridge Flyers is the final of three Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners. This exam will introduce children to advanced topics and will learn how to respond to activity-based exercises.
Examination Format: The Cambridge Young Learners of English (YLE) Examinations are composed of four main components; listening, reading, writing, speaking. The examinations are administered by certified Cambridge examiners in Hong Kong on a regular basis.
